Dana Gillespie has had a stellar, time travelling, film career. She hasn’t done huge amounts but her roles have always been in classy original (in my book anyway) movies. Staring with a very noticeable cameo in the classic British tease movie “Secrets of a windmill girl” for which she wrote the music she plays. She had very notable parts in Samuel Z Arkoff’s 'The People That Time Forgot’ and Hammer’s  'The Lost continent’; “the terrified travellers encounter unspeakable monsters man-eating seaweed vicious mutant pirates and stupendously endowed women”. as well as appeared in The Vengeance of She, The land that time forgot, and Fumo di Londra. Dana hilariously smothered Dudley moore inPeter Cook's fantastic "Hound of The Baskerville’s” spoof, and was the screw with a heart in Scrubbers. a definite Borstal breakout! She worked with Ken Russell playing the polyamorous seductress opera singer in Mahler.

We will be screening lyle highlights form her movies and hopefully hearing some wonderful anecdotes about working with a such a stellar cast of actors, producers and directors. Did she sing a duet with Hildegard Kneff? we’ll find out!
