Charm, modesty and a lot of talent. As one of the most characteristic sounding groups in Europe today, Perry Dear & The Deerstalkers display their very distinctive sound that has made them one of the most “in demand” groups in the Big Beat scene. Nowadays there are a significant lot of contemporary bands playing garage rock. Furthermore there are a handful of groups playing «Merseybeat» and even fewer «Shadows instrumental bands». And then there’s Perry Dear & The Deerstalkers. Steeped in the golden age of the instrumental circa April 1962 to December 1963, when Fender six string bass instrumentals posed a serious threat to both Merseybeat and the «Shadows guitar groups». It is no exaggeration to state that Perry Dear & The Deerstalkers are experts in their field.

It's taken a few years of asking, begging, pleading but finally the Nancy boys have agreed to reform for your Wild Weekend pleasure! Truly another step back in time as they played the second ever Frat Shack!

MARY ANN HAWKINS
FINLAND
Wild n sweaty surf sounds from this mean moody & menacing bunch of no-gooders that could have stepped out of a Tarantino movie.
Mary Anne Hawkins are a kick ass bunch of surf music hounds from Finland. They play raucous high energy surf twang with a blast of brass and saxophone. Mixing in some soundtrack sounds and Rautlanga (metal wire music, basically guitar instrumental) for good measure.
